Planned changeouts
No surprises. No guesswork.
Replacing a commercial switch means a planned outage. We survey the gear, confirm withstand and close-on ratings, order long-lead parts early, and build a step-by-step outage plan your facility team can sign off on. If a temporary generator is needed during the changeout, it's in the quote.
ATS testing and maintenanceQuestions
Straight answers.
Can you repair it instead of replacing it?
Often, yes. Contactors, control boards, solenoids and lugs can be replaced on many switches. We'll give you a repair price and a replacement price when both make sense.
How much does transfer switch replacement cost?
It depends on amperage, residential or commercial, indoor or outdoor, service-entrance rating, and how much wiring changes. We give a written quote after we see the switch.
Do you pull permits?
Yes. Transfer switch replacement is electrical work and needs a permit and inspection in most jurisdictions. Permits and inspections are handled by the licensed electrician on your job and included in the written quote.
How long does a replacement take?
Most residential switch replacements are a one-day job once the part is on site. Commercial work is scheduled around your outage window.
